Every right minded tourist has to take one of the many boat tours on the River Seine. You can take a short daytime tour or a more romantic nighttime cruise (including dinner if you wish). These tours go from the Pont l’Alma every twenty minutes or so during the day and at 6pm and 9pm in the evening. Daytime tour sare about $10 while evening cruises with dinner are about $100.

If you are visiting Montmatre, take the cute little choo-choo train that goes around this quarter of Paris. There is a commentary telling you about the places you are passing and the history of the district. This is a good tour to take the weight off your feet after climbing up to Montmatre.
3) L’Open Tour

This is an open top tour bus that goes around Paris with as many as 50 hop on hop off stops to give you a chance to visit many, many sights. There are four different circuits covering different areas of Paris. A ticket is about 25 euro.
4) Canauxrama - Canal Saint Martin Boat Trip

This boat trip departs from Bassin de la Villette or from Port de L’Arsenal (opposite 50 Boulevard de la Bastille) at 9.45 and 14.30. It is a leisurely cruise along the famous Saint Martin Canal and is a serene break from your more hectic sightseeing. You go through four twin locks and through the Bastille vault and watch the “Echoes de Lumiere” show.
